Two coasts, two seasons, and a wave for every level. The south coast – Weligama, Ahangama, Hiriketiya – fires from November to April with breaks that suit beginners through to solid intermediates. Arugam Bay on the east coast produces one of Asia’s best point breaks from May to October, with enough around it to make a dedicated surf trip worth the journey.
